The picture you decide to post to your profile is crucial. It’s essentially your first impression and makes people either want to know more about you or leave you alone. The next 3-5 images that you select are equally important, so keep these things in mind when making your selection:

1.    Have a clearly visible face. Your face shows your personality.
2.    Like the photo that you choose. This will help with confidence.
3.    Don’t use a picture that is “staged”. It can only cause issues later if you can’t live up to the hype in your photo.

Never ever have an unrecognizable face in the picture. If you use excess makeup or a mask, no one will really know what you look like. Also, steer clear of the popular duck face—it’s not flattering.

Next, be weary of any cleavage or body parts show in photos. Think about the kind of date you want before you post it. If there’s a lot of skin showing, you may accidentally be inviting a one night stand.

Your other pictures you use on your profile may take a minute to select, but just go by the same criteria as you did your main photo. At the same time, get a little creative and submit photos like your hobbies, selfies, and maybe even a full body shot. The larger the variety, the more your personality shows which leads to more potential dating partners that are curious to know more.

As for nudes, just forget about them unless you’re looking for sex. Again, the more skin that is shown, the more you’ll attract people looking for sexual encounters. As a result, you’ll have a hard time determining whose looking for “fun” and whose serious about a real relationship.
